A moment in Music and what that means
A Moment in Music and what that means. We live our lives in Perpetual Motion going from here to there, doing this and doing that , seldom taking the moment and frequently watching a moment go by through not grasping the opportunity that exists.
To brake the cycle takes action and change, a deliberate decision to move in a new direction or to bring on board in a more prominent manner an existing line of channel to core point and value. We've spent 8 long years working with value derived of a musical framework of analysis to see the parts to the whole and the whole to the parts through a template as relevant as a movable bar chord in E Form or A Form to the Fret Board and the 1 - 3 - 5 Formula which yields the root chord as augmented, diminished, sharped, flatted or minored through small moves on the scale. Music Theory a sub element of Wave Theory in Physics and Math and that micro element of a controllable tones through a scale to bring order to chaos and produce tonal music with dissonant chords here and there for resolution value, ebb and flows starts and stops and more the lines of the many elements of style and art across cultures and genres of Music. All within a moment of music to reflect a mode and in complexity to set up Our Moment of Playing Again to awaken the lines to see what new Value we can bring.
Times have changed, Styles Change but Music remains adaptable to needs. Comforting from the roots of structure and consistency to the changeable element of styles across genres.... a moment in music is a thought in time and a question of how music above all can so much impact us. The Happy Song, the Sad Song, The Patriotic Song, The Song of the Culture, The Song of Today, The Song of the Past. The Fast Song, The Slow Song, The Melodic Song and The Mildly Dissonant Song all with place and value to styles an Tastes..... a moment in Music.... To think of Song.

Buskers' Rights: Know the Laws of Street Performing
Buskers' Rights: Know the Laws of Street Performing: A recently circulated video of Andrew Kalleen being arrested for busking in the New York City subway system has caused a lot of concern in the music/busking community. You can watch the video here. Andrew was armed with the correct citation showing the MTA’s rules that permitted him to play; however, despite his repeated attempts to get the arresting officer to understand the law, the officer arrested Kalleen.

DCarsonCPA CALs ART in Life Gallery:
From inception DCarsonCPA lines were built from a Foundation of business, humanity, communications, accounting and skills in Creative Arts. Many long chapters ago I pursued a diligent line of rigerous daily study of music at a young age to the measure of an eventual 4+ hours daily at the peak from a start somewhere around age 12 and an earlier experience in a Restaurant seeing a Guitarist and in a kind version of the story having a family member who in seeing my interest in one guitar player playing Tom Dooley by the Kingston Trio inspired that the player entertain me and teach me (some fairly common chords D and G as I amazingly remember this now in writing and must only then have been age 7 or 8??) so that in fairness the Adults could eat diner in context to their needs to bond and me being the only child at the table which taxed them until a later time when others joined the lines to spread out the attention needs. I have grown to understand others deeply to adapt to changing needs since early years... it's ok now to reflect and see how that fits to a larger theme and journey as each one of has our Individual Self and Our Journey AND the value we can bring to a team across the horizon of rugged individualism and what I call shared accountability to express the never lost context of individual and work context to needs and how frequently they may relate for unanticipated value added synergy... I'll explain.
It's not that my story is so unique and compelling... it is to me because believing in the value of the journey of course provides the fuel to move on... it's in believing that in some way this story bears relevance to helping needs that may be optimized to encompass a wide range of opportunities for business and community value. I am working with a value of wealth in context to a life well lived with knowledge and experience in reference to my range of skills and views and if those skills add value to another to inspire or to open points on teamwork, that is a meaningful outcome well worth the time and endeavor to tell some stories of a unique journey of which I have no perspective of beyond the experience of living the journey in it's terms of experience and meaning. Meaning that may bear value for someone on a journey now cross roads and looking at the signs to the road ahead and pondering value and direction. I am going to roll out the Artist lines to bring elements of my journey and experience on those lines as I find context to the next steps on journey and in tribute to all ready seeing so much value from the journey to help on needs on communications, information processing and continual learning to analysis. In Abstract The Relationship being Metadata to Data, yes it was ego driven but understanding the source it came from a perspective of you need me as I need you to the tapestry of songwriting as a craft and music as a performance.
It belies the value of teamwork for even as Steven was looking to drive a point and equal point counterpoint was applied and made in the abstract of analysis. Human Relationships are built on Communications, and Human Communications can be complex. Sometimes that's why ART is such a valuable tool to help on many obvious and less obvious needs to build on teamwork. All for a framework to bring Music into the Analysis and a band is a microcosm of a small business or a family enterprise with egos and complexity to rival any business line hence the volatility to band chemistry and endurance of line ups. More to follow on this forward now as thinking about it. Human Relationships are Complex in Business as at All points and this comes through on many levels where ART can help on value added communications lines. Frequently to simplify needs on Communications and Outreach.
